The Bently Nevada 3500/42 Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition-monitoring module used within the 3500 Series rack system. It accepts inputs from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers and provides conditioned signals for measuring vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, acceleration, velocity, and shaft absolute motion.
This monitor continuously compares measured parameters against preset alert and danger limits to provide both protection and diagnostic capabilities. Each pair of channels can be configured independently, allowing a single module to perform two different monitoring functions simultaneously.
The 3500/42 is widely applied in rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators where high reliability, accuracy, and continuous monitoring are essential.
