The Bently Nevada 3500/42E (285691-01) is a four-channel Proximitor/Seismic Monitor Module designed for use within the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity sensors, or accelerometers and processes them to measure critical machine parameters such as vibration, shaft position, and acceleration. The module continuously compares measured values against user-configured Alert and Danger limits to provide protection and condition monitoring for rotating equipment.
Each pair of channels can be configured independently to perform specific measurement functions, making the 3500/42E highly versatile for various industrial machinery applications, including turbines, compressors, generators, and large motors.
