Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/42E (287823-01) is a four-channel Proximitor/Seismic Monitor Module designed for the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It provides continuous monitoring of vibration, position, and acceleration parameters for critical rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, generators, and large industrial motors.
The module accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity sensors, and accelerometers. It processes the input data, calculates vibration and position values, and continuously compares them with user-defined Alert and Danger setpoints. When setpoint limits are exceeded, the module initiates alarms or shutdown actions to protect the machinery.
Each pair of channels can be configured independently, enabling simultaneous monitoring of multiple machine parameters such as radial vibration, shaft position, thrust, or casing velocity.
