The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition-monitoring module designed for use in the 3500 Series rack system. It accepts inputs from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers, and provides conditioned signals used to measure radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, acceleration, velocity, and shaft absolute motion.
This module continuously compares the measured parameters with pre-configured alert and danger setpoints. If the measured values exceed these thresholds, it generates alarm or trip outputs to protect critical rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, and pumps. The 3500/42M offers high accuracy, wide frequency response, and superior stability, making it one of the most trusted modules for vibration and position monitoring in industrial applications.
Each pair of channels can be configured independently, allowing a single module to perform multiple monitoring functions simultaneously.
