Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel vibration and position monitoring module designed for use in the Bently Nevada 3500 Series machinery protection system. It provides continuous monitoring of critical rotating equipment by measuring vibration, displacement, and position signals from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers.
The 3500/42M converts these signals into engineering units and compares them with user-defined alarm setpoints, generating Alert and Danger alarms when limits are exceeded. This enables early detection of mechanical issues such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing wear, and excessive shaft movement.
Each pair of channels within the module can be independently configured for different measurement types, allowing a single module to monitor multiple machine parameters simultaneously.
