The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition monitoring module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system. It measures and monitors critical dynamic parameters such as shaft vibration, position, acceleration, and casing velocity to ensure safe and reliable operation of rotating equipment.
This module accepts input signals from proximity probes, seismic transducers, or accelerometers, processes these signals through built-in filters and converters, and outputs both real-time data and alarm statuses to the control system. Each pair of channels can be independently configured, allowing a single 3500/42M module to perform multiple monitoring functions simultaneously.
It is widely used in turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and other rotating machinery applications requiring continuous monitoring, protection, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
