Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a high-performance, four-channel machinery protection and condition monitoring module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system.
It accepts dynamic inputs from proximity probes, velocity sensors, or accelerometers and provides continuous measurement of key vibration and position parameters on rotating machinery.
Each module processes four independent input channels that can be configured in pairs. Each pair performs a specific monitoring function such as radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, or acceleration. The monitor continuously compares these measurements with user-defined alert and danger thresholds, issuing alarms or trip commands when abnormal conditions occur.
This module is widely used in turbines, compressors, pumps, generators, and other rotating equipment where continuous condition monitoring and machinery protection are critical.
