Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition monitoring module designed for use in the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system. It provides continuous measurement and alarming functions for rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
The 3500/42M receives inputs from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers. It processes these signals to measure parameters such as radial vibration, thrust position, shaft absolute motion, differential expansion, eccentricity, and casing vibration. The monitor compares these measured values to configured alert and danger limits to trigger alarms or shutdown actions when abnormal conditions occur.
This module supports full integration with Bently Nevada’s 3500 system architecture, providing real-time protection, trending data, and seamless communication with control and diagnostic systems.
