Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/50M Tachometer Module (288062-02) is a dual-channel speed and direction monitoring module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It measures shaft rotational speed, zero speed, reverse rotation, and rotor acceleration using input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups.
The module provides a conditioned Keyphasor® output through the system backplane, allowing synchronization with other monitoring modules. It also supports configurable operating modes and alarm settings, enabling early detection of abnormal machine behavior.
This module is designed for monitoring and diagnostic purposes only and is not suitable for use as a primary overspeed or emergency shutdown protection device.
