The Bently Nevada 3500/60 (Part No. 163179-01 + 133819-01) is a two-channel Velocity Monitor Module used to measure and protect rotating machinery based on casing vibration velocity.
This module pair consists of a front monitor module (163179-01) and a rear I/O module (133819-01). Together, they form a complete velocity monitoring channel within the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system.
It continuously measures vibration signals from velocity sensors, converts them into engineering units (mm/s or in/s), and compares them to user-configured Alert and Danger setpoints. When vibration levels exceed thresholds, alarms or trips are triggered to protect equipment from damage.
This module is designed for use in critical industrial environments requiring high accuracy, reliability, and compliance with API 670 vibration protection standards.
