The Bently Nevada 3500/62 (136483-01 + 163179-03) is a dual-channel temperature monitor used within the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It provides continuous, high-accuracy temperature measurement for rotating and reciprocating machinery.
This model integrates the 136483-01 monitor module with the 163179-03 Isolated I/O module, which provides complete electrical isolation between each input channel, the backplane, and external wiring. The isolation improves noise immunity and prevents ground loop interference — essential for installations in high-voltage or electrically noisy environments.
The 3500/62 accepts input signals from both Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) and Thermocouples (TCs). Each channel independently measures temperature, applies linearization, and compares the measured value against two programmable alarm levels — Alert and Danger. The monitor provides one 4–20 mA proportional output per channel for external control or data acquisition systems.
