It forms part of the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System, providing continuous monitoring, alarm annunciation, and 4–20 mA output for integration into control systems.
This configuration combines the 136294-01 monitor module with the 163179-03 isolated I/O module, offering full channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation. The isolation design enhances electrical noise immunity, protects against ground loops, and ensures stable operation even in high-voltage or electrically noisy environments.
Each of the two input channels can independently accept Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) or Thermocouple (TC) inputs, perform signal conditioning and linearization, and compare measurements with user-defined Alert and Danger alarm thresholds.
