Product Overview
The Honeywell FX-USI-0002 is a Universal Safety Interface (USI) module designed for use within the Honeywell Safety Manager™ system. It serves as a direct replacement for previous versions such as FE-USI-0002, FC-USI-0002, and FC-USI-0001. The module provides reliable input and output interfacing for safety-critical applications and features enhanced diagnostics, higher reliability, and full backward compatibility with earlier USI modules.
FX-USI-0002 is used in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) that require high integrity and availability, including Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Burner Management Systems (BMS), and Fire & Gas (F&G) protection.
