The China National Intellectual Property Administration has disclosed that ABB Switzerland Ltd. has filed a patent titled “Lifting Device and Lifting System,” with publication number CN121100104A, filed in May 2023.
The invention relates to a lifting device designed for industrial load handling and vertical motion applications. The system includes a pallet structure for supporting objects, a motor-driven actuation unit, multiple rotating components, and transmission elements working in coordination to achieve controlled lifting motion.
In the proposed design, the pallet is connected through multiple pivot points to rotating components and transmission assemblies, all driven by a motor. Each rotating component is linked to a base structure and the motor via distinct linkage pivots, forming a coordinated mechanical motion system. The transmission components further connect the rotating mechanism to the pallet, enabling stable force transfer throughout the lifting process.
The key innovation lies in a simplified and modular mechanical architecture that optimizes the overall transmission path. This results in a more compact equipment layout while reducing the number of mechanical parts required. As a result, both manufacturing complexity and assembly costs are lowered.
In addition, the structural design enhances assembly stability and long-term operational reliability. By improving load distribution and mechanical coordination, the system aims to deliver higher structural integrity and more efficient performance in industrial lifting applications.
