The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition-monitoring module used in the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system. It is designed to measure and monitor vibration, position, and seismic parameters on critical rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
This module accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity transducers, or accelerometers and provides accurate conditioned outputs for machinery protection and diagnostics. Each pair of channels can be configured independently, allowing one module to handle multiple measurement functions such as radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, or casing velocity.
The 3500/42M continuously compares measured parameters with user-defined alarm limits and generates alert and danger alarms when abnormal vibration or displacement is detected. It forms an integral part of Bently Nevada’s trusted machinery protection and predictive maintenance system.
