Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel vibration and position monitoring module designed for use in the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It provides continuous monitoring of critical rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
This monitor accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity sensors, or accelerometers and processes them into dynamic and static values used for machinery protection and condition monitoring. The 3500/42M continuously compares these values with user-defined Alert and Danger setpoints, triggering alarms and relays when limits are exceeded.
Each pair of channels can be configured independently, enabling two different monitoring functions within the same module. The module works together with its corresponding I/O module (128229-01) to provide electrical terminations, signal isolation, and field connections.
