The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor / Seismic Monitor is a four-channel machinery protection and condition-monitoring module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Series rack system.
It accepts inputs from proximity probes, velocity sensors, or accelerometers and provides continuous monitoring of critical machine parameters such as radial vibration, thrust position, eccentricity, shaft absolute motion, acceleration, and velocity.
This module delivers real-time protection by comparing measured values with preset alert and danger thresholds, providing both alarm output and detailed vibration diagnostics for predictive maintenance. Each pair of channels can be configured independently, allowing the same module to monitor two different functions simultaneously.
The 3500/42M is widely used in rotating machinery such as gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators, where precise vibration monitoring and reliable protection are essential to plant safety and operational efficiency.
