The Bently Nevada 3500/92 (136188-02 + 136180-01) is an advanced Communications Gateway Module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System.
It provides an interface between the 3500 rack and external plant control systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, or System 1 Condition Monitoring software.
This configuration combines the 136188-02 Monitor Module (communication processor) and the 136180-01 I/O Module (physical interface). Together, they collect all data from the rack—including vibration, position, temperature, and alarm statuses—and transmit it to higher-level systems via Modbus RTU (RS-232/RS-485) or Modbus TCP/IP (Ethernet).
The 136188-02 revision features enhanced firmware, improved network stability, and expanded Modbus mapping, offering faster and more reliable communication than earlier models.
