Product Overview
The HIMA F3330 is a digital input module designed for use within the HIMA HIMax and HIQuad safety-related automation systems. It provides reliable and isolated acquisition of discrete input signals from field devices in safety-critical process and factory automation applications.
The F3330 is used primarily to interface digital field signals—such as limit switches, push buttons, pressure contacts, or other binary sensors—into a HIMA safety controller. The module converts incoming signals into logic-level data for processing by the system’s CPU while maintaining full electrical isolation and diagnostic capability to ensure functional safety in accordance with IEC 61508 up to SIL 3.
With advanced diagnostics, hot-swap capability, and galvanic isolation between field and system sides, the F3330 ensures maximum availability and ease of maintenance for safety instrumented systems (SIS) in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, and manufacturing automation.
