The HIMA F8650X is a safety-critical central processing module designed for use in HIMA’s safety instrumented systems (such as PES H51q-MS, H51q-HS, H51q-HRS). It incorporates dual 32-bit microprocessors operating in lock-step (synchronised) fashion, enabling high reliability and safety integrity up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508. The module serves as the core CPU of a safety system, coordinating I/O modules, communication interfaces and diagnostics, and maintains safe operation even in demanding industrial environments.
