Honeywell China President Yu Feng said that the rapid rise of local enterprises in China brings more opportunities than challenges. “Competition is not a bad thing—it pushes us to move faster and deliver more.”
At the Third China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing, he noted that Honeywell focuses on differentiated, value-driven solutions in automation, energy transition, and future aviation to better serve Chinese customers.
Yu Feng emphasized two core strategies in China: accelerating innovation and improving cost efficiency. Innovation now includes not only technology, but also business and operational models, while efficiency is improved through innovation-driven cost optimization.
Honeywell continues to deepen collaboration with Chinese suppliers and partners. Through technical cooperation and training programs, the company helps suppliers improve manufacturing and management capabilities.
“We aim to help suppliers grow sustainably so everyone can win long-term,” he said.
He highlighted three key advantages of China’s supply chain:
Honeywell has built a fully localized value chain in China, covering R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and services. The company follows an “East serves East” strategy, aligning global technologies with local market needs to drive innovation and growth.
