Beijing ABB Switchgear Co., Ltd. held a grand 30th anniversary celebration in Beijing under the theme “Three Decades of Strength, Advancing with Opportunity.” The event marked a key milestone in the company’s development in China and reaffirmed its long-term commitment to supporting the country’s transition toward a more intelligent and resilient modern power system with efficient and reliable electrical technologies.

During the celebration, ABB launched two new environmentally friendly products, further strengthening its sustainable power portfolio: the 24kV Safe Air gas-insulated ring main unit and compact switchgear, and the 12kV Safe Air gas-insulated load break switch unit. Both products expand ABB’s SF₆-free (sulfur hexafluoride-free) technology lineup, supporting the industry’s shift toward low-carbon and sustainable solutions.
