Honeywell has announced that it is evaluating strategic alternatives for two of its transportation and logistics-focused businesses as it continues preparations for a planned three-way corporate separation expected to be completed by 2026.
The company has been actively streamlining its portfolio as part of a broader restructuring strategy. Following the planned split, Honeywell will operate as three independent businesses focused on aerospace, automation, and advanced materials.
As part of this process, Honeywell is reviewing its “Productivity Solutions and Services” and “Warehouse and Workflow Solutions” units. The review aims to further simplify the company’s structure ahead of the separation.
These two divisions provide technologies such as barcode scanners, printing systems, conveyor solutions, and warehouse automation tools. Each business generated more than $1 billion in revenue in 2024, according to the company.
Honeywell stated that the review is intended to enhance operational focus and ensure each future standalone company has a clearer strategic direction as it moves toward the upcoming corporate split.
